We define the IONIQ 6 as an electrified streamliner. This is a completely new definition for a car, which has become part of our vocabulary to describe vehicles from the era of EV mobility.
For us, a streamliner is a vehicle that has an aerodynamic, sleek design. Looking at the IONIQ 6 from the side, you can see its eccentrically-curved aerodynamic profile and smooth, carefully crafted contours.
Overall, this is a car that looks like a perfectly smooth rock shaped by a river. The aerodynamically sculpted silhouette, with its simple yet sensuous curves, is more than just a visual ‘design’.

Price & Variants
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is expected to be launched in India around April 2025, with an expected starting price of ₹ 65 lakh (ex-showroom).
Although the exact variants for the Indian market have not been finalized, it is likely to be offered in a single variant. Fully loaded configuration.
Internationally, the Ioniq 6 is available with multiple battery and drive train options, but in the Indian market, it might be limited to the larger battery option.
